The Goal
Tawny Lara, "The Sober Sexpert," sought to consolidate her diverse platforms and establish a cohesive personal brand that authentically reflected her mission to destigmatize taboo topics and empower her audience.
The Challenge
Tawny's existing visual identity was fragmented, lacking a central focus and consistent aesthetic. She needed a brand that resonated with her vulnerable audience while maintaining her bold and edgy spirit.
The Solution
I collaborated with Tawny to create a unified brand identity that captured her transformative nature and empathetic approach. This involved:
1. Symbolic Iconography: Designing a unique stained glass icon incorporating a mug, lightning bolt, and book imagery. This symbolized the nature of her work: illuminating complex topics with clarity and power.
2. Typography and Color Palette: Selecting clean yet bold and charismatic typography, paired with a natural color palette that matched Tawny's lively personality and aesthetic.
3. Substack Integration: Developing a complete logo suite for her popular Substack, "Beyond Liquid Courage," which incorporates stained glass imagery to maintain brand consistency across her platform.
The End Result
Tawny now has a cohesive and impactful brand identity that effectively communicates her mission and resonates with her audience. The stained glass imagery and bold typography create a memorable and distinctive visual language, while the natural color palette reflects her authentic personality.
